The Opportunity

Hologenomix B.V., a biotechnology start-up located in Delft, The Netherlands, is pioneering innovative cell-free nucleic acids (cfDNA and cfRNA) extraction technology from biofluids, with a core focus on urine. The company aims to overcome critical challenges in cell-free nucleic acid isolation to facilitate accessible and non-invasive molecular diagnostics. With applications in cancer detection, transplant monitoring, and personalized medicine, Hologenomix is driving advancements in the liquid biopsy field. Our mission is to redefine molecular diagnostics by increasing the potential of alternative biofluids, enabling improved outcomes and a patient-friendly approach.

What you will actually do

• Secure EU and Dutch grants and subsidies with a target of €1-2m.
• Establish pharma and diagnostics partnerships for service agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with CROs, biobanks, and clinical partners.
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new business opportunities.

Who you are

• Multiple years of experience in biotech or life sciences business development.
• Proven track record of securing grant funding.
• Experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, or biotechnology industry.
• Background in contract negotiation and commercial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; a background in biotechnology is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication for building client relationships.
• Knowledge of the European funding landscape and experience with academic partnerships.
• Proficiency in English, Dutch proficiency is a plus.
